The Malt Mountain & Jack Curve Railroad is in Tucson, AZ and as the title suggests, this is the little railroad we affectionately call The Extreme Makeover Garden Railroad Edition - and for good reason. From the time we got to Tucson on Monday late afternoon until Thursday early evening it was go, go, go.

We mainly just set up Monday afternoon and evening to begin work in earnest Tuesday. We started this railroad Tuesday morning and trains were running Thursday evening. Granted it was only 220 feet of track, but we did it. And, we didn't have a crew. It was only Rick The Railroad Guy and his wife the Lil Red Caboose. And believe it or not, the Lil Red Caboose worked her buns off too. She has a totally fresh appreciation of how hard her wonderful husband works.

We were so busy that normally we take the time to take BEFORE pictures, DURING pictures and AFTER pictures for the web site. Unfortunately we got so busy we completely forgot the BEFORE pictures, and the Lil Red Caboose did take some DURING pictures while Rick was pouring concrete, but mostly we just have the AFTER pictures.
