The L & E BNSF Railroad is in Gilbert, AZ and was commissioned on behalf of Larry & Esther Fixx. This railroad was in severe disrepair as is evidenced by the first 7 pictures. The owner due to medical reasons was unable to maintain it or fix it, so to the rescue came Rick the Railroad Guy and Empire Builder Railroad Designs.

We utilized the bridges that were on the railroad to begin with, but rebuilt the tunnels, built a mountain with a fountain flowing into the existing water feature and re-routed some of the track.

This railroad will require very little maintenance for the owners and since they are no longer using track power, the owner doesn't even need to clean the tracks prior to every run.
