The Diamond Kanyon Railroad in Anthem, AZ was commissioned by a loving father who's 6 year old son has "train on the brain" almost to the extend that Rick the Railroad Guy does. Dylan is an amazing little boy, bright, well spoken and absolutely loves trains. He and his darling little sister Krista just stole our hearts and you can see them both in our December ad in Garden Railways Magazine.

The back yard was already in when the client contacted us, and the piece of ground they had dedicated to the railroad was an l shaped piece in the southwest courner of the yard which is against the far wall on the outside and abuts the BBQ Patio on the inside. But Rick and his creative mind was able to shoehorn 100 feet of track, a water feature, couple of tunnels, bridges and mountains into this little area, as well as a good sized sand box for the kids to play in when trains aren't running. Heck they can even play in it if trains ARE running.

This railroad took about 6 weeks and is a beautiful piece of artistry.
